The Chaldean Al-Rahma Association, in cooperation and coordination with the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization organized an event for orphaned children in Basra Governorate.
The charity event was held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, on the occasion of Christmas.
The event was organized by Father Imad Al-Banna with the participation of a team of association volunteers, witnessing the distribution of gifts and school bags to 100 orphaned children in an humanitarian and interactive atmosphere bringing joy to the children.
The activity came as a part of series of initiatives undertaken by the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization to support Iraqi children from the most vulnerable groups, especially orphans, as part of its efforts to address the difficult social conditions that many of them face.
Hammurabi Organization (HHRO) affirms that the charitable event was achieved as a result of the support of the Christian Solidarity International (CSI), enabling the organization programs and activities to reach vulnerable groups and meet their basic needs.
