  • Inauguration of Qaraqosh Primary School and organizing educational campaigns for community cohesion and pluralism in forty schools in Nineveh governorate
  • Completing transportation and housing project for 146 students from Iraqi schools, institutes and colleges, as well as organizing three workshops for qualifying and encouraging students to increase educational interests.
  • Sponsorship of kindergarten (Bait Al-Tefel) and courses

In English language to develop capabilities of new young graduates

 

  • Documenting diagnoses on educational reality in Iraq for the year 2021 as in the annual report of the organization.

 

Hammurabi Organization’s interest in the educational aspect remains one of its priorities, and if it has given this knowledge service sector a space in the human rights and undertaken relief activities as during the last six months of the current year 2022 it has achieved more significant activities, following up by Mrs. Pascale Warda Chairwoman of the Organization, members of the board of directors and heads of branches, and in a statistical language we are interested in highlighting a number of its important achievements in this field

    1. The inauguration of Qarqoush Primary School in the center of Al-Hamdaniya District, where the completion was supervised by the Organization with the support of French organizations to restore the reception of students after the terrorist groups of ISIS had basically destroyed during its occupation of this city
    2. Communication in implementing the project of community cohesion and respect for pluralism, including forty schools in order to remove the deposits of hatred and grudge that ISIS tried to perpetuate in the society of Nineveh Governorate, which is known for its diverse population components. The project was managed by Mr. Yohanna Youssef Tawaya
    3. A project to ensure the transfer and housing of students in schools, institutes and colleges in number of Iraqi universities whose families do not have the financial ability to cover those needs. The project was managed by Mr. William Warda, including care of 146 students. The main goal of the project is to achieve living and psychological stability for the students.

     

    1. A project for scientific rehabilitation to increase the efficiency of students. The project was managed by Engineer Amir Saeed through psychological educational courses for students in primary, intermediate and secondary schools, through three seminars attended by teachers and educators. Hundreds of students in Nineveh Governorate have benefited from this projec3t.

    5- The Kindergarten project in Bartella, run by Dominican nuns including 75 children and managed by Engineer Amir Saeed.

     

    6- The initiative carried out in the field by Engineer Riyad Shaan, Head of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization branch in Erbil to develop the capacities of young graduates in English language ,as  courses held since the beginning of June in Erbil to increase English language skills and access to employment and competence in the labor market, with overcrowding of the unemployed and considerable competition for jobs.

     

     

    7- The report of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization included the human rights situation in Iraq for the year 2021 contained a main focus on the reality of education in Iraq, prepared by Dr. Seif Adnan, diagnosing some negative phenomena.
