On Monday, December 22, 2025 and with an environment of love and giving, the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization (HHRO) with the generous support of the Christian Solidarity Organization (CSI), distributed winter coats to displaced students both male and female in Erbil/Ankawa.
This humanitarian initiative coincide with Christmas celebrations aiming to bringing warmth and joy to children.
The distribution included four schools: Al-Rafidain School, Al-Salam School, Sarah and Bahnam School, and the First Virgin School.
The children received delegations from the two organizations with great joy, amid a simple festive atmosphere filled with smiles and gratitude.
This initiative is a continuation of the efforts of the Hammurabi Organization in supporting displaced, emigrated and impoverished families in several Iraqi governorates which is scheduled to include 1000 beneficiaries on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, and to alleviate their suffering, particularly during the winter season, where the needs of low-income families are exacerbated.
The team in charge of the initiative expressed their happiness at sharing joy with children during the holiday season, stressing that humanity is not measured by words, but rather in actions that ignite hope for children.
The event concluded with the sincere wishes of the team for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with security, peace and love to all Iraqis.
