The Hammurabi Human Rights Organization with the support of the Christian Solidarity Organization (CSI) and in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs implemented a humanitarian campaign.
The campaign came as part of its annual program to support human rights and needy students, including the distribution of school bags and stationery to 100 families of students and those covered by social care from families living below the poverty line.
The campaign took place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Ministry of Labor headquarters, under the supervision of Mr.William Warda, Director of Public Relations at the Hammurabi Organization, Mr. Abdul-Sattar Abdul-Jabbar, a member of the General Board of Hammurabi Organization – Relief Committee with the participation of a group of volunteers from the organization, including Hagop Haik, Imad Abd, and Haitham Majed.
The campaign was also participated by Mr. Hawari Khalaf, Director of the Department of the Civil Society Organizations at the Office of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Omar Al-Hafith from the same department, and a number of employees.
This initiative embodies a practical example of partnership between civil society organizations and government institutions in supporting vulnerable groups.
It also has a profound impact on strengthening the commitment of impoverished families to the importance of education, as this assistance helps alleviate the financial burdens that might otherwise discourage some families from sending their children to school.
Through these campaigns, confidence is renewed in the importance of community solidarity in ensuring the right to education for all and building an aware and educated generation capable of contributing to a more just and equitable future.
