A Ramadan Breakfast banquet at the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization in Baghdad

 

On a blessed Ramadan evening, Hammurabi Human Rights Organization hosted a breakfast banquet on Thursday, March 20th, at 6:00 PM at its headquarters in Baghdad, bringing together its employees, members, volunteers and supporters in a Ramadan-friendly atmosphere that embodied the spirit of solidarity, love and values ​​of community cohesion.

 

 This initiative of Ramadan banquet attended by intellectuals, writers and leading figures of the society was to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of founding the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization which coincide with the holy seasons of Ramadan and the glorious Easter fasting of Christians.

 

The Organizational Committee prepared the welcoming hall with great care setting out a long table with variety of dishes to meet all tastes, including traditional appetizers such as dates and soups, main dishes including traditional Arab, Middle Eastern and Assyrian dishes, Ramadan desserts such as qatayef, kunafa and other beverages such as juices and tea.

 

The Ramadan celebration included a welcoming speech by Mrs. Pascale Warda, expressing her joy for the attendees, saying: “This occasion brings people together in love, friendship, and brotherhood, regardless of religious differences. It brings together people of all religions, uniting us in the values ​​of solidarity and compassion”.

 

 

The Ramadan celebration concluded with the attendees exchanging pleasant conversations among themselves in an atmosphere characterized by joy, harmony, gaining information, and exchanging ideas.
