Mrs. Pascale Warda, Chairwoman of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization, followed up on the implementation of a number of the projects and activities of the organization during the period from November 5 - 12, 2025. She began her tour by following up on the progress of the youth training project in the village of Mankish in Dohuk on beekeeping, which is organized and supervised by the organization office in Dohuk and funded by the Christian Solidarity Organization.
Mrs. Warda praised the progress of the training workshop and the development of the young trainees, calling to benefit as much as possible from the information and experiences provided to them by the trainers so that they can start future projects to provide with sources of income to preserve their dignity and to be self-reliant.
Mrs. Pascale completed her tour with an inspection visit to one of the small projects funded by the organization in Mosul in support an Iraqi returnee from Germany, which was a clothes iron.
These visits are conducted regularly for all small businesses funded by the organization to ensure their proper functioning, encourage their continuation, and minimize obstacles for beneficiaries.
The Hammurabi Organization believes that opening small projects in Mosul and other villages and areas from which Iraqis have been displaced and emigrated has an essential role in encouraging their people to return to their areas of origin and gives them new hope that what is coming is more beautiful.
One of the shop owners next to the clothes iron says: "It was a period in history that ended, and our Christian brothers must return to their property, and Mosul without Christians has no beauty".
Mrs. Pascale Warda concluded her tour by visiting the organization branch in Erbil, where she met with a number of branch management members and volunteers, discussing the ways to promote human rights. She also discussed proposals for future projects implemented by the organization that enhance awareness of human rights and support marginalized groups.
