A delegation of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization visited the Assyrian Church of the East - Virgin Mary in Dohuk. On the seventeenth of January 2024, they were received by His Eminence Bishop Eres Youkhana
The delegation included Mrs. Pascale Warda, Chairwoman of the organization, Mr. William Warda, Director of Relations, and Messrs. Iyad Yacoub Fadel and Azzam Iyad Yacoub, members of the organization’s office in Dohuk.
His Eminence the Bishop welcomed the delegation, pointing out the importance of the relief and human rights achievements carried out by the Hammurabi Organization for Human Rights.
Mrs. Pascale and Mr. William Warda expressed their continued keenness to provide the best services that guarantee the rights of Christians and all other components of the content that volunteer work is within the framework to serve nations, which is a service to Iraqi citizens of all affiliations.
Issues that concern the situation of citizens in the region were discussed, as His Eminence Bishop Eres Youkhana pointed to the lack of job opportunities and the widespread phenomenon of unemployment, which causes many social problems.
