A joint delegation from HHRO and IILHR visited the Displaced Yazidies in Khanki complex which is situated in Semeel district on Monday 10/11/2014 to view the conditions of these displaced families.

And after doing an inspection tour the delegation realized that these families lack basic need from covers, heaters and stoves. And the displaced also complained of lack of food supplies that they receive and asked to get better tents to protect them from cold, knowing that the existing tents of this kind are very few and do not fill the basic need for every displaced, the camp also suffers from a lack in sanitation.

The delegation also recorded that the displaced needs tanks for clean water because every 40 families share one clean water tank and sometimes they are forced to buy electricity from the neighboring houses so that each tent could have one light.
