Our organization Followed since 6:00 PM this evening, Sunday, 31/10/2010 and until 11:00 pm, and with deep concern the news of a group of terrorists stormed Al-Najat Churh in Karrada, and they seized the faithful who were attending a Sunday mass and pray where, as they seized more than eighty people and were taken hostages in order to blackmail the authorities to implement their own terms. News was conflicting and not comforting, but even catastrophic, what happened in this evening is the worst happened and the worst crime committed against Christians in the third millennium in Iraq. At the time while one of the channels carrying news success of the Iraqi security forces in the liberation of the Christian hostages and the victory of the Iraqi forces against terrorism in this process, we received bad news from the church directly and one of the priests who had witnessed the incident, placing the emphasis of our Organization as a standing amid more than forty martyrs for his church, including priests Wisam and Thaer, and over twenty injured.
In the face of this heinous crime and the insanity of human beings, deplore and strongly condemn this inhuman act and long-term balances ethical, and urge the Iraqi authorities and the whole world pay attention to the plight of Christians in Iraq and solidarity with them and work to provide protection of the seriousness of them in their home country of Iraq.
At the same time we ourselves, we present to the families of martyrs the words of condolence and sympathy, and we ask God Almighty to have mercy Itagmayorm, also call for the injured a speedy recovery.
