  • HHRO has distributed (420) food baskets within the broad program for relief the returnees funded by CSI.

A relief team of Hammurabi Human Rights Organization visited the village of Kabarli on 15/10/2017 and distributed 420 food baskets to the villagers returning to the village, who are from shabak and kakais, The relief team included Mr. Louis Marcos Ayoub, the organization's vice president, Mr. Yohanna Yousif Tawaya, head of the organization's branch in Erbil, and members of the general assembly (Faris Jarjeas, Farhan Yousif, Alan Louis Marcos).

The distribution of this aid was with contribution of a number of citizens under the leadership of Mr. Khairuddin Nuri Elias, a member of the Council of Hamdaniyah district, Mr. Sardar Zaidan and Mr. Hamid Saleh Ismail is the village Mukhtar. The Relief team of Hammurabi thanked these volunteer citizens.

It is worth mentioning that the village of Kabarli is one of the villages of the center of the district of Al-Hamdaniyah "Qaraqosh" has suffered serious damage because of the occupation by daesh , which caused the burning and detonation and destruction of dozens of houses and others. It is known that the relief activity of HHRO comes with the support of Christian Solidarity International (CSI), which has already supported extensive relief activities carried out by Hammurabi, It is certain that the relief programs adopted by the organization for returnees come in their efforts to promote return and establish more requirements for survival in the country and reduce the phenomenon of migration to outside the country.
