HHRO delivering aid to 170 displaced family in Duhok

On Friday 20/11/2015: Hammurabi Human Rights Organization delivered aid to 100 displaced family who have taken refuge in the villages of Balijani, Hamziya, Komani, Bibad, Botiya and Briekar to escape persecution and death at the hands of the Islamic State, each family received a number of blankets chosen according to the number of family members: the largest families received more blankets.

Furthermore, on Saturday 21/11/2015: HHRO delivered aid to 70 displaced family living in Araden, where they received similar aid.

Previously, HHRO have delivered similar humanitarian aid to Christian, Yazidi, Shabak and Arab IDPs in Erbil, Shaqlawa and Diana during the 18th and the 19th of November, and the beneficiaries reached 170 family, moreover, about 300 displaced family received urgent humanitarian assistance from HHRO in Anbar, Salah al-Dien and Jorf al-Sakher where a team consisting of HHRO's members and volunteers visited Sadr al-Yosifiya and al-Taji and delivered the aid.

This humanitarian relief program comes in cooperation with the General Counsel of the French province of APCA, which is helping HHRO cover expenses incurred with the assistance.
