"The cold won't find its way to you this winter either." Hammurabi Organization continues to distribute winter clothing to children in need of support

As part of its annual humanitarian campaign to distribute 1000 winter clothes to children of needy families deserving of support, the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization (HHRO), with support of Christian Solidarity International (CSI) distributed 110 winter jackets (gums) to the children most in need at the Chaldean Charitable Society in Baghdad, on the evening of December 16, 2025.

The supervisors of the campaign clarified that this initiative comes as a continuation of the humanitarian activity implemented by the organization since the beginning of December 2025 in several Iraqi governorates on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year aiming to support the most vulnerable groups during the winter. 

Mr. William Warda, Director of Public Relations of Hammurabi Organization and Mr. Abdul Sattar Faeq, Member of the General Board of the Organization – Relief Committee, participated in implementing the campaign.

The team of the campaign include a group of volunteers most notably Hagop Haig, Yas Ali and Imad Abed.

The Hammurabi organization emphasizes the importance of concerted efforts by all to provide warmth and safety for children during the winter as this kind of humanitarian activities reflects its commitment to promoting human rights by supporting the basic needs of deserving families.
