The efforts of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization resulted in achieving human rights for the benefit of people with disabilities, in a governmental response to the conclusions presented by the organization through proposals and complaints made by citizens during their participation in the training workshops held by the organization in Baghdad and Basra as part of the project of inclusivity of the right

The government response was to send these summaries to ministries concerned with implementing Law No. 38 of 2013.

That Hammurabi Organization had sent to the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers a letter No. 41 dated 30/8/2023, and in order to exploit this interest, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers sent to the  ministerial authorities the diagnoses available with the Hammurabi Organization. The concerned authorities took note of the matter,

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs responded according to what should be done in this  regard, as the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received letters from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs under the numbers 315-317-318 dated 7-1-2024, addressed to the ministries, guaranteeing paying attention to the conclusions of the subject of the research

Hammurabi Human Rights Organization extends its sincere thanks to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, considered with satisfaction, reassurance and confidence that cooperation, follow-up and deliberations are sufficient to resolve further outstanding issues and be a clear path to achieving more rights for people with: disabilities as well as for all Iraqi citizens.
